The Second Amendment Foundation will host their 20th annual Gun Rights Policy Conference September 23-25 in Los Angeles.

Scheduled speakers include NRA’s President Sandra Froman, Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre and Director of Federal Affairs, Chuck Cunningham.

Also speaking will be author of “The Bias Against Guns” Professor John R. Lott Jr., the host of “Gun Talk” radio program Tom Gresham and Massad Ayoob.

Buckeye Firearms will be represented by Jim Irvine, who will be on a panel discussion regarding state’s issues.

Buckeye Firearms Association has learned that the grassroots efforts of one volunteer have paid off. The Wood County Agricultural Society (Fair Board) has determined that it’s previous actions of posting the entire fair grounds as off-limits to concealed carry was in violation of Ohio’s Concealed Carry Law. As such, they have issued a public statement that says the signs have been removed from the gates and will be placed on buildings instead.

The Toledo Free Press is reporting that police citing “safekeeping” policies continue to hold a gun they seized from a temporary CHL-holder despite the fact that no charges have been filed against the gun owner. In return the owner is contemplating a lawsuit against the city.

resident who has been waging a personal fight against the City of Toledo,
has been convicted in a Toledo Municipal Court for charges filed against him
after he violated a ban on concealed carry in a Toledo city park.
