A lot of Americans may not want to admit this, but being law-abiding is a very private matter. For many of us, including myself, it is a matter of self respect, a community contribution, a solemnity that is not based on fear of punishment, but of personal values.

We finally did it. This past weekend, my wife and I finally took our twelve hour class that is required to obtain our concealed handgun license (CHL). It may be shocking to many people that I waited this long to obtain my CHL, because I have been very active in the fight to protect our Second Amendment rights. I am a part-time police officer, and that allowed me to carry off-duty without obtaining a CHL.
Buckeye Firearm Association’s web site is seeing an amazing growth in visitors and new articles are being posted several times a week.
With everything that is going on, it is easy to miss some important and interesting articles. To make sure that you don’t miss anything, we are going to repost one of our more popular articles every Friday.

As I mentioned in previous comments on S. 388 (the nationwide concealed carry permit recognition bill introduced by U.S. Representative John Thune, R-S.D.) the very idea of carrying weapons made uniform nationwide can impeach the need for many social programs which are based on a theory of violence.
Could it all really happen?
Yes. Because most social programs are based on a lie, and impeaching the lie will starve them to death. The rest will take care of itself.
