Buckeye Firearms Association has learned that there will be no activity on HB347 today. It was expected that a substitute bill would be amended and accepted in today’s Criminal Justice Committee hearing. Look for this action to occur at a committee hearing in the near future.
At last. After months of hard work by Ohio’s Legislators and many Committee hearings on HB347, the concealed carry reform bill sponsored by Representative Jim Aslanides (R-94) of Coschocton, the Columbus Dispatch has entered the arena with it’s usual liberal, anti-gun blathering by printing one of the most uninformed editorials to date on this subject.
The Range Report (produced by the National Shooting Sports Foundation for club officers and range operators) is reporting that two ranges have been recognized with the National Association of Shooting Ranges (NASR) Five-Star Rating. The ranges are South Carolina’s Palmetto State Shooting Centers and Ohio’s Black Wing Shooting Center. Black Wing joins a prestigious group of shooting centers and ranges.
