Buckeye Firearms Association would like to thank Black Wing Shooting Center for the letting candidates and grassroots volunteers spend some time together last weekend. A good time was had by all.

Thanks to all the elected officials who took time from their hectic schedules to attend. For several of them, it was a three hour drive, each way. That is more than an eight our time commitment to spend time with you. They are our friends.

The Ohio House of Representative passed a public records bill today – House Bill 9. A floor amendment was made by Representative Brinkman (R-34) to allow people with a concealed handgun license (CHL’s) to protect their personal information from the media who has abused their access by printing lists of license holders, yet has never used the information for any of the public good they claimed they needed the access for.

After the amendment passed, the bill was passed on the House floor, sending it to the Ohio Senate.

Your help is urgently needed! As you read this, attempts are being made to roll back the improvements made in H.B. 347. As you know, this piece of legislation passed the House overwhelmingly last week, and contains many favorable provisions for gun owners.
